Great crowd tonight as Mark & Justin made a long overdue return to TNP. Enough for 2 tables and some tremendous action. The shocker of the night came when Deb was first out at her table, padding her lead by 1. Justin was quick to resort to his true form and was out next. Bobby never even sparked tonight when his early call of Killian's all in cost him dearly. Shane didn't fair much better but did manage to take his mom out and took her bounty point. A jubilant and slightly inebriated Mark was out next but stuck around for a while dealing for the final table. A tired Killian was out next followed by Paul. Crystal made the next cut and that left myself, Chris & Nick in the top 3. I was pleased to have improved over my previous two outings and settled for third. The heads up between Chris & Nick lasted a while and when they finished it took $2500 just to see a flop! After trading chip leads several times, Nick finally caught a hand to put Chris away. Here's the break down.

Not again!
I hope this isn't a trend! I was first out, again! Followed soon by Paul. I think they're taking advantage of the elderly and infirmed! Killian was out next, followed by Crystal. Nick next, then Chris. Shane was next, leaving Bobby, Lisa & Deb in the final 3. Bobby flamed for a short while was his fire was soon extinguished. The two ladies made the heads up with Deb taking the night.

Happy SAD -- Single Awareness Day
Ugh, I couldn't have played worse last night! I misread a hand and it cost me both green chips, which Nick was all too happy to take from me. I couldn't recover and was first out. Bobby misread one of his hands and didn't fare much better. After playing so well last week he followed me out next. We had a big crowd of 10 and the new table made it possible for all of us to play at together. Next out was Crystal, then Lisa. A recovering Paul, after surving a bountiful all in, was next to be eliminated. Nick, Shane & Deb left the table next. The heads up came down to a slow playing, conservative Chris and a throw caution to the wind daredevil Killian. Lots of chips on both sides and after pushing Chris around, Killian finally won the night with 26 points and $50! Here's the breakdown.
10. Jeff 2
9. Bobby 4
8. Crystal 6
7. Lisa 8
6. Paul 10
5. Nick 12
4. Shane 14
3. Deb 16
2. Chris 20
1. Killian 26 (including 1 extra point for quad 8's and 1 for Deb's bounty)
Some definite movement in the leader board this week, and until next time, may all your cards be life and your pots be monsters!

Believe it or not.......
Someone call Ripley's! I've never seen such a night of poker. I'll dispense with the preliminaries. Chris never drew a pot and was out first. I was out second when Deb's kings full of queens beat my queens full of kings. She took my 2 bounty points. A cranky Nick was put out third by Bobby. Crystal exited next. When the heads up between Bobby & Deb began, at a little before 10, Deb had a 5 or 6 to 1 chip lead. Crystal commented that she could stay the few more minutes to see Deb dispense with Bobby. Well, Bobby had other ideas. Like the character from The Fantastic 4, Bobby said "Flame On"! and that's just what he did. He began one of the greatest come backs I've ever seen. A few minutes turned into an hour. I lost count of the hands he won. He took the chip lead but his fire soon began to cool. Deb hung in until the tides began to shift. When he got down to a few chips, he began going all in. He won 7 in a row! Finally, even his all in luck ran out and on his 8th Deb finally ended his run. Still, what a way to break in the new table! Here are the stats.
6. Chris 1
5. Jeff 2
4. Nick 3
3. Crystal 4
2. Bobby 6
1. Deb 11 (Including 1 bounty point for quad kings and my 2 bounty points)
DON'T FORGET! Next week is salad night and the double points $5 buy in winner take all! Let's celebrate Single Awareness with a bang! Until then, may all your cards be live and your pots be monsters!
