What is TNP? A Thursday night gathering of friends who happen to enjoy playing poker. Rather than play for money, which few of us have in abundance, we have developed a point system. Points are awarded and are determined by your performance in a game. Last place gets 1 point, next out gets 2 points and so on until the heads up. Each of the heads up players receives bonus points (1 for making heads up and 2 for winning). Bonus points are also awarded based on the following: The previous week's winner has a bounty point on their head. Whoever removes them from play gets that bonus point. If the previous week's winner wins again, they retain the point. 4 of a kind will get you 1 bonus point, a straight flush earns you 2 bonus points and a Royal Flush garners 3 bonus points.
